The composite insulator is composed of umbrella sleeve, mandrel and fittings at both ends. For products of 110kV and below, no voltage equalizing ring is provided, and products of 220kV and above are equipped with 1-2 voltage equalizing rings. It can also be equipped with a pressure equalizing ring according to user needs.
1. The umbrella tray made of high molecular polymer with silicone rubber as the matrix has the advantages of good hydrophobicity, corrosion resistance and aging resistance. It can effectively prevent the occurrence of pollution flashover accidents, reduce manual cleaning, and avoid zero-value maintenance, which provides a reliable guarantee for the safe operation of transmission lines.
2. The core rod is made of glass fiber reinforced resin rod, which has high tensile strength (>1100Mpa), which is about 1.5 to 2 times that of ordinary steel, and 3 to 5 times that of high-strength porcelain. In addition, the mandrel also has good vibration damping, creep resistance and fatigue fracture resistance.
3. The connection between the hardware and the mandrel adopts a non-damaged mechanical crimping connection, which is the most advanced connection method in the world today. The advantages are: the connection is safe and reliable, the crimping stress is evenly distributed, the integrity of the glass fiber bundle of the mandrel is not damaged, and the excellent characteristics of high tensile strength can be fully exerted.
4. The equalizing ring can improve the electric field distribution, reduce corona and radio interference, and protect the umbrella skirt from being burned out in the event of a strong arc. For composite insulators with high voltage levels, the effect is more significant.
5. The composite insulator is compact in structure, small in size, light in weight (1/7 to 1/10 of the same level of porcelain insulator strings), has good elasticity, and does not require regular cleaning. Therefore, it not only brings great convenience to transportation and installation, but also greatly reduces the amount of maintenance and saves a lot of maintenance costs, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and provides good conditions for accident maintenance and the implementation of compact lines.
6. The composite insulator is produced by the integral injection molding production process. The umbrella casing has a beautiful appearance, few interfaces, the mandrel and the sheath are firmly bonded without gaps, and the internal insulation performance is good, which can avoid the phenomenon of interface breakdown.
Check before use
1. The products have been tested one by one and sampled according to the standard before leaving the factory. In order to prevent damage during transportation, they should be carefully checked one by one before installation. The surface defect of the insulator umbrella disc (such as lack of glue, recess depth Less than or equal to 1mm) area Less than or equal to 0.2 percent of the total surface area of the insulator.
2. If the umbrella cover is torn or worn and the mandrel is exposed, please do not use it.
Product Installation Precautions
1. The insulators are packaged according to the regulations of JB/T9673.
2. The insulator is packed in a sturdy, suitable-sized carton for easy transportation.
3. Products of 220kV and below are packed in cartons, 10kV products are packed with 6 products per box, and 35kV-220kV products are packed with 3 products per box. 330kV 750kV products are packaged in round paper tubes, and each paper tube contains 1 product. When packaging 330kV 750kV, in order to better protect the product from damage, first fix the insulator with 3 radial support plates, then install it in a circular paper tube, and finally package the paper tube with a plastic bag.
4. Each packing box is equipped with a product certificate, and 3 to 10 user manuals are attached with the goods.
5. The pressure equalizing ring is packaged in a separate carton. The products of 220kV and below are packed in three carton boxes, and the products of 330kV and above are packed in two carton boxes. The pressure equalizing ring includes bolts, nuts and spring washers assembled together.
